In Hall 3 of CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf 2022, everything the outdoor fan's heart desires will be on display from 27 August to 4 September (Preview Day 26th August) with the motto "Travel & Nature". In addition to equipment with folding, collapsible and tent caravans, roof tents as well as camping, igloo and trekking tents, there will be information on dream destinations near and far that will inspire visitors there.
A visit to Hall 3 of CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf is therefore always an excursion into attractive holiday worlds. It takes caravanning fans to numerous destinations and lets them dream of the next tour.
"People have a renewed desire to discover new destinations and the combination of mobile travel and regions offering outdoor activities is very popular. Whether it's hiking, cycling or boat tours with canoes and kayaks, the great outdoors beckon and more and more people are heeding the call. This form of holiday is particularly in demand, as it can be planned individually, but can also be undertaken quite spontaneously. And I am very pleased that the tourism sector will again be represented at CARAVAN SALON with such a large range of products," explains Project Director Stefan Koschke.
Many destinations at the fair this year will be presented directly to fans. For example, Australia, which has eased its strict entry regulations after the long pandemic break will be present for the first time in 2022. In Düsseldorf, "Down Under" presents itself to fans in all its beauty from Sydney to Perth, Cairns to Adelaide, the Outback to the Great Barrier Reef.
The state of North Rhine-Westphalia is also represented with a large joint stand of many tourist regions. In keeping with the regional Radio motto "Out to the West", natural destinations between the rivers Weser and Rhine will be presented here. And there are certainly many insider tips that tourism experts can still reveal to their visitors.
Also, Croatia is represented with its own stand and shows its varied landscapes. With over 1,000 islands and charming mountain regions, the south-eastern European country is a showcase region for the successful combination of hiking and water sports holidays.
Cyprus, another Mediterranean beauty is making its way to Hall 3. Hiking and bathing combined in one holiday is the program here. The third largest island in the Mediterranean has a mild climate and southern flair all year round. Both holidays on its long, secluded beaches and hikes through the dense forests of the Troodos Mountains are very popular here.
With tours between the Baltic Sea, the Masurian Lake District or the Tatra Mountains, Poland is an attractive destination for both outdoor fans and passionate water sports enthusiasts. With its diverse landscapes, our eastern neighbour is a top address in Hall 3 and will also be at present for the first time.
Greece, Slovenia and Denmark will also be there with their own presentations and will present dream regions for active holidays that can be booked on the spot in Hall 3.
The platform www.roadsurfer.de also offers cool and unusual camping spots all over Europe in Hall 3. Whether at the fruit farmer's in the tranquil town of Lüdersfeld in the district of Schaumburg, in the middle of an imposing castle complex in the Occitan town of Saint-Projet or on a lonely organic farm in El Perelló in Catalonia, individual travelers will find tailor-made and very special hotspots here.
In addition to international destinations, providers such as the internet platform www.landvergnügen.de will show that relaxing and enjoying the outdoors is possible right on your doorstep. More than 1,300 idyllic destinations for motorhomes, caravans or campervans with rural hosts entice visitors for a short holiday on a farm or vineyards.
Europe's most beautiful holiday roads and travel routes for all fans of mobile leisure are bundled on the website www.ferienstraßen.info which will also have an information stand in Hall 3.
On the event stage all about caravanning tourism, outdoor activities and experiencing nature, exhibitors and travel experts will present a colorful program. Here visitors can find out about new equipment, sports and destinations on the spot. An exciting and adventurous program is offered by the Dream Tour presentations, which are integrated on the stage in Hall 3. Topics include "The Panamericana - stage from Costa Rica to Mexico", "Tour with the motorhome from the Loire to the Atlantic", "Dream destination Incense Road" or "North Cape - with the motorhome to the land of the fjords".
For interested parties who did not make it to Hall 3 for one of the program items, online streams with the motto "Travel & Nature CONNECTED" will deliver all presentations live from the stage on www.caravansalon.com and the fair's social media channels.
"The interest of manufacturers, retailers and destinations in presenting in Hall 3 is very high. This clearly shows that it is important for the exhibitors to present themselves personally to their audience again. Accordingly, fans can also expect a varied program on stage. I cordially invite all friends of outdoor activities to visit us, as they can get comprehensive information and also shop here", Stefan Koschke summarizes.
