The stable aluminium frame of SOLARA solar modules is very robust and absolutely weather and salt water resistant. The frame gives the solar module the necessary stability for free and rear-ventilated mounting and protects against mechanical loads such as wind, snow, etc.

Solar panels without a frame can simply be glued or screwed directly onto the surface. On a stable base and flat mounting, the solar panels without a frame can even be walked on. A mounting system is not necessary! In addition, the solar panels are particularly light and therefore ideal for vans, campers, caravans or camper vans. Since the solar panels without a frame are extremely flat, the structure will not increase, there will not be a tripping edge and no driving or air noises will be generated.

SOLARA ABS-mounting spoilers - the optimal mounting
ABS holding spoilers are the optimal attachment for solar panels. They are available in white and are perfect for mobile homes, campers or caravans.
Simply glue instead of screw.

Due to their aerodynamic shape, they are at the same time a mounting system and wind deflector, so that no disturbing driving noise can occur. We only use high-quality, specially coated, UV-resistant ABS plastic to ensure that our retaining spoilers remain permanently dimensional stable and colour-stable.

The ABS spoilers are suitable for use with different solar panels widths and across manufacturers. In addition, there are mounting corners and connector profiles that can be used universally. The spoilers are bonded to the SOLARA FIX PACK on the vehicle roof with our special ABS adhesive, the solar panels are connected to the spoilers with the help of screws (included in the delivery).

Function of a charge controller
The charge controller is connected to the solar modules and the battery for overcharge protection. So that the consumers do not deep-discharge the battery, the charge controller, if there is no deep-charge protection onboard, is also connected to it. The charge controller is thus the control centre and an important protection for the solar system.
