The Expert Modular is a state of the art battery monitor of the latest generation. It consists of an intelligent shunt and a remote control with display unit. The shunt has a grid optimized footprint for perfect integration with our modular DC products. This advanced battery monitor not only displays the true state of charge of your battery system. It also offers a large number of additional functions to optimally monitor your battery system and control external devices. The Expert Modular is compatible with lead-acid and lithium batteries.
Batteries (LiFePO4).
The Expert Modular can monitor up to three battery banks. The inputs for battery bank 2 and 3 can also be configured for other purposes such as midpoint voltage measurement, key switch input, setup lockout or backlight control. The Expert Modular battery monitor can handle DC currents up to 600Amps (500Amp continuous) and voltages up to 70Vdc. So any lead or lithium based battery from 12V to 48V can be monitored.
Installation time is minimal, requiring only one supply wire to the intelligent shunt base and a single 'QuickLink' cable between the shunt.

Safe working with 230 volts in your vehicle or mobile lifting platform
A residual current circuit breaker is mandatory in buildings and workplaces: In the event of an earth fault, the circuit breaker quickly interrupts the 230 volt supply and thus prevents personal injury or worse.
However, in a mobile application, an RCD is not a reliable safety device. After all, the vehicle stands on rubber tires and is therefore isolated from the earth. As soon as the energy generated in the vehicle is used outside the vehicle, a life-threatening situation arises in the event of an earth fault, with a high risk of electric shock and personal injury. Even double-insulated tools offer no protection in this case.
