Who are we?
The Ticino Tourism Agency (ATT SA) is a joint-stock company based in Bellinzona, created as a result of the new tourism law that came into force on 1 January 2015.
It succeeds the Ticino Tourist Board, which was formed in 1972.
ATT SA has 8 shareholders: - Canton - 4 regional tourist organisations (OTR: Mendrisiotto and Basso Ceresio, Luganese, Bellinzonese and High Ticino and Lago Maggiore and Valleys) - 3 professional associations (Hotelleriesuisse Ticino, Gastroticino and Ticino Camping Association)
Internally, the ATT is divided into the following areas: "Products", "Administration", "Content", "Market Switzerland", "Foreign Markets", "Communication", and "Web Management".
What do we do?
The ATT prepares and implements a cantonal tourism strategy on behalf of the canton and the regional tourism organisations (OTR). This is based on the regional strategic plans of the OTR.
ATT is mainly active in the following markets: Switzerland, Italy, Germany, USA and Canada, UK, Benelux, China, France, Gulf States, Russia and South East Asia.
